No technology blogpost

When I had to go without the internet and cell phone at school it really had no effect on me because that is just a typical day for me. Although I had to find new ways to occupy my time in between classes so I sat on a bench outside of Beta Hall and read a book. But I could not concentrate because of the squirrels. One even had the audacity to come on my bench and stare at me. So I looked back at the squirrel and shook my head and I guess the squirrel got me because it moved away. And I saw one with an acorn and it buried the acorn in the ground and I finally figured out what squirrels are doing when their heads are in the ground. Anyway, I started to observe people then that became boring so I just sat there doing nothing. I wasn't bored though because I was thinking about eggnog. Anyway, I know that is not very profound but the real challenge for me did not come along until I had to go home and was not able to watch TV. That is when I realized how much I valued the company of other people because it is not as lonely as sitting in a room by myself everyday. But of course I never realized that because the TV always provides entertainment and I don't feel lonely when I am watching it. I didn't see the world any differently except maybe realize how lonely I am here without my family and friends in Fort Lauderdale. So if this assignment has done anything for me, it has made me realize how lonely I am without television.
